Correct sizes, modern formats, the main image loaded first and everything below the fold loaded later.
Make the store fast on the phone your customers actually use.
We measure on a mid-tier Android over 4G, find what slows the store down, and fix it in your theme. Fixed scope, fixed price, before and after numbers.
Slow stores usually show the same symptoms.
- —The mobile PageSpeed score is red and nobody knows which script to blame.
- —The hero image or video takes seconds to appear on a phone.
- —Banners, reviews and app widgets push the page around while it loads.
- —Taps on variants, add to cart or the cart drawer feel delayed.
- —Apps you uninstalled months ago still load code on every page.
- —Ten or more apps inject scripts into the theme.
The work happens in the theme, not in another app.
Every script listed with what it costs and who uses it. Unused ones go, the rest load only on the pages that need them.
Space reserved for images, fonts and app widgets, so the page stops jumping while it loads.
Heavy JavaScript broken up so variant pickers, add to cart and the cart drawer respond as soon as they are tapped.
Render-blocking CSS and JavaScript, duplicated libraries and leftovers from old apps and quick edits.
When a section, a metafield or a native Shopify feature does the job, we build it into the theme and you drop the app.
We report against the thresholds set by Google.
Core Web Vitals, measured at the 75th percentile of real visits. We use field data where the store has enough traffic, and lab runs on real mid-tier devices where it does not.
How fast the main content appears. Good is 2.5 seconds or less.
How fast the page responds to a tap. Good is 200 milliseconds or less.
How much the page moves while loading. Good is 0.1 or less.
Measured before, measured after.
You talk to the developer doing the work. Four steps, no account manager in between.
Field data from real visitors when available, plus lab runs on a mid-tier Android over 4G. Home, collection, product and cart.
A written list of fixes ranked by impact, with a fixed price and a date. One business day after the check.
Work happens in a duplicated theme. Your live store is never the staging environment.
Before and after numbers on the same pages and devices, plus a documented diff of what changed.
Everything you need to keep it fast after we leave.
- Before and after report for each page type
- Script and app inventory with what each one costs
- Documented code diff in your theme
- Tracking check: GA4 and pixel events still fire after the changes
- List of apps you can remove and what replaces them
- Fixes we did not ship, ranked, for later
Before you send the URL
Do you need access to the store?
A collaborator or staff account with theme access. We work in a duplicated theme and never edit the live one directly.
Will removing apps break something?
We only remove an app after checking what it does and agreeing it with you. If the feature is still needed, we rebuild it natively or keep the app and load it only where it is used.
Will the PageSpeed score reach 100?
Probably not, and it does not need to. The score is a lab estimate. We aim for the Core Web Vitals thresholds on the phones your customers use.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the theme and the app stack. After the free speed check you get a fixed price and a date, not an hourly estimate.
Do you work on Shopify Plus?
Yes. Plus stores usually carry more apps and scripts, and the same process applies.
